​Megan received her Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in Personal Financial Planning, a program recognized as one of the best in the country, and also studied at Southern Methodist University's Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship. In her final year of school, Megan worked as an associate for a wealth management firm based in Florida.

In addition to her role at QuadCap Wealth Management, Megan has held the position of chief financial officer for Brazos East Enterprises, from 2013 to 2017 and was appointed to the DBRI Regional Advertising Advisory Council in 2016 and 2017. Megan has also been named Financial Director for Spaeth Communications Inc and joined the Forbes Finance Council in 2020.

Megan is an active member of her daughter's Preschool Parent's Association. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, fly fishing, and cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders. She is also an active supporter of Second Chance SPCA, a local animal rescue organization.
